Election coverage

Obama is having quite a time on his campaign trail. But really, people are captivated by his charisma, not his policies. He is completely naive and would be walked all over by foreign diplomats and don't even get me started on the Middle East. Spare me. I would rather have a president who is an average speaker but completely takes care of terrorism while in the White House rather than someone who is a great speaker but completely ruins the country, much like Jimmy Carter did. Too many of these candidates are just saying things that their audience wants to hear. We need someone who is able to settle the score with Iran and the world at large. I would rather the United States be a successful country and safe here at home than be well liked by everyone and a complete push over.
The only reason Obama has so much support in this race for president, is because he is the trendy vote, the MTV vote. Or as I say, the eMpTyVote. All the celebs from George Clooney, to Ben Stiller, to Jeanine Garofolo all pull for Obama. These people have no actual policital knowledge, they just read what the far left sends their way and pass it off as their own observation. Obama is the "hot" vote, but he would be a terrible president and here is why. He has no concept of foreign policy and would be pushed around by people like Soros. Obama doesn't have the gravitas, he would be too easily pushed around by not only people at home here, but abroad. Unlike Bush who was ready to roll once we were attacked on 9/11, Obama would wait around and try to find out why the terrorists did what they did, to understand them. All the meanwhile we get attacked again at home and abroad. Hollowood is using their sway and the access to movies and other sources of media to discredit anything that conservatives do, no matter how positive the outcome. And when the country sees movies in the theater that are clearly anti-American and always portray our soldiers as the bad guys and a cute middle eastern fellow, who happens to be Islamic, as the hero of the story, people get PCBW'd (Political Correct BrainWashed). People like Brian DePalma and his movie "Redacted", George Clooney and "Syriana", and other flicks of disquality reach theaters and you get the snooty liberals applauding at the conclusion of these motion picture disasters. If only the people in the theater knew the ugliness of what they were watching. These same people are the ones who vote for the trendy candidate, Obama. And while trends are fun, I do not want a trend as the President of the United States of America.
So while the left coast in Berkley is trying to give the military the heave ho, just remember that both the remaining Democratic candidates are not speaking out against Code Pinko. Just like when they did not stand firm against the Petreus (sp) ad in the New York Times. The loons out there in CA feel that they deserve the spotlight and the rest of the country is just a bunch of yokels who need their minds to be made up for them. What ever happened to the days where actors like Jimmy Stewart picked up their gun when their country called on them? But instead, they are in a music video by Will.I.Am saying "Yes I can" or something to that effect, I pretty much tuned out when it came on. There is nothing wrong with a positive message, it's just who the message supports, and neither Democratic candidate deserves a positive message. Where were the emotional advertisements for Republican candidates? I forgot, being a conservative is out of fashion, despite it fitting when you try it on.
